Cool For Cats - Dolly March 1985

It's been a little while since I've posted a fashion spread (as I've been a tad lazy), so here is one focusing on animal prints and fake furs.  Photography is by Graham Shearer and the model is Annette (I have forgotten her last name unfortunately but she was in Dolly a lot during 84-85.

This is a very 1984 fashion spread entitled 'Rough Stuff' featuring heavy duty fabrics.  Photography by Graham Shearer and I can only identify one of the models - Sarah Nursey of course - the ultimate Dolly model herself!  A gorgeous set of photographs, and I do like the look of tying the bottom of the pants above the ankle, as seen in the second last image.  The co-op pinafore dress is very much of this time as well .. I know I have definitely seen some ads in the issues for Co-op which I'll have to upload soon.

This fashion spread didn't scan in as well as it looks in the magazine itself unfortunately, but still striking nonetheless.  I knew instantly that the jeans the girls are wearing are Faberge as I picked a pair up just like the ones the girl on the right is wearing in the last image at an op-shop ages ago and remember them well.  (Although I did end up getting rid of them as the zip was just waaaay to long and high and they just weren't flattering in the slightest)!
